Who Is Domantas Sabonis’ Wife? Meet Shashana Sabonis

Domantas Sabonis pulls a lot of his strength and motivation from his wife’s love and support. The NBA player even admitted that he tries to point at his wife, Shashana Sabonis, every time he gets a basket.
Shashana is very familiar with the court. Before she became a wife and a supporter, Shashana was a dancer for the Los Angeles Lakers. Through her love for dancing, she also founded The Movement Los Angeles Dance Studio, The Company Dance Studio, and Superstars Dance Academy.
The couple have reportedly met at a restaurant in Los Angeles. Domantas and Shashana went public on Instagram in 2019 and got engaged in 2020. They tied the know in August 2021, then welcomed their first child, Tiger, on March 11, 2022. Their second child, Eleven Rose, was born on July 11, 2023.
“If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here today, so she always pushes me to be better,” Domantas said about his wife, Shashana.
Domantas also slowly converted to Judaism after they got married. Shashana happens to be a religious person, and Domantas was committed into building their fulfilling life together.
In an interview with The Jewish News of Northern California, Shashana shared that Domantas is very curios about Judaism as well.
“We really haven’t talked about it, [but] he loves [Judaism] and really wants to be a part of it,” she said.
She added, “He’s always asking questions. He keeps kosher, and when he’s in Vilnius, he’s going to the kosher butchers to get chicken.”
