NBA players tend to be all over media whenever they retire from the game. Richard Jefferson is no exception from all of this. He had big runs with the New Jersey Nets all the way to his team-up with LeBron James in the Cleveland Cavaliers system. As of the moment, he also maintains a big TikTok following while doing his duties as an analayst of the game.
Being this busy usually means that NBA legend's don't quite have the time to date. The same could be true for Richard Jefferson. He has not been seen dating anybody nor are there any activities in his social media that point to him being in a relationship at the moment. So, many people largely think that he is single or just very good at hiding his relationship status from everyone else.
This does not mean that Jefferson has been single his whole life though. He was actively dating during his career and one of his relationships made headlines. Many NBA fans could recall his engagement Kesha Nichols. The reason that this made rounds in the late 2000s was because many believe that he left his bride-to-be at the altar and called off the wedding.
Jefferson also used to have a wife. He was married to Teresa Lourenco and even had a child with her. However, there relationship just was not able to keep up with their very demanding lives. This led to their eventual divorce which was obviously tough for both sides. Since he dated these two, there has not been another significant other in the former NBA player's life. But, it is never too late for him to find the love of his life.
