Every NBA Draft class seems to have someone who's dubbed as the second coming of LeBron James. This all looked possible and real when Ben Simmons was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers. He resembled The King's game so much that comparisons were starting to make sense. All of this held true until a big blunder in the playoffs disallowed him from reaching his potential. There is no question that Ben Simmons could still end up as a versatile forward with the Nets. However, it was just not expected for him to have this large of a drop off after having such an insane four-year run with the 76ers.
