NBA players are not usually as huge as they are while growing up. Some have gotten accustomed to playing like a guard but their growth spurts prompted them to become a big man. This is because he reached the height of 7-foot-1 at just 14 years old.

This got him the proper training he needed to do well on the court while also maintaining a balanced physique such that his guard skills could develop. Time was the ultimate truth-teller of this story because he ended up becoming one of the best unicorns in NBA history.
Anticipation may have just been the greatest weapon than Wembanyama had to combat all these big men woes. After all, he would be playing no other position in the NBA given his height anymore. So, the only viable option was to start making him unique and unbeatable by other NBA talents at a very young age such that he got a head start.
