Shams Charania's Dating Life: Is the Young Reporter Single or Taken?

There is probably no other person in sports media that has a more hectic schedule than Shams Charania. From his time with The Athletic to his transition to ESPN, there is clearly such a big chunk of his life that is occupied by making calls to agents and front offices. With all of these in mind, does the senior insider have a girlfriend that keeps him mellow despite a lot of stressors in his career?
Well, the very short answer to this question is that Shams Charania is single. The ESPN Senior Insider is not dating anybody nor has he taken the interest in being romantically involved with someone. After all, he does have a very tight schedule on a daily basis and squeezing in a girlfriend would be very hard.
However, this does not save him from rumors. Recently, reports have been going around which state that Charania and Kay Adams were dating. A lot of it started when he said this about the renowned female sports personality: "That's a great colleague of mine. I think she's amazing. I think she's amazing at what she does. I enjoy going on her show. Obviously, she has, to me -- like with you, similarly, you make me feel comfortable when I'm on your show. She makes me feel very comfortable. We saw the Super Bowl together. We were in the suite. We were in the FanDuel suite."
The biggest deal breaker for why they could not be together? It's the fact that he really likes Almond Joy while she despises that candy. In the end, the two have mutually agreed that they were not going to date nor were they ever going to work out.
