Trae Young was expected to be the next big thing for the Atlanta Hawks and he has delivered. They finally found their guard of the future. He has led them to an Eastern Conference Finals berth already despite not being a decade into the league yet. Furthermore, the young scoring guard has also amassed a number of accolades that put him high up their franchise's all-time greats. There are a lot of worries and trials that came his way on this journey. So, did he have someone by his side?
Well, he did. Trae Young has long been very committed to his wife. Yes, he just got married to his longtime girlfriend, Shelby Miller. The two met at Oklahoma and have not let go of each other since. She was always present on his way to the top from the NBA Draft all the way to the Hawks' Eastern Conference Finals heartbreak. This is why it's not hard to see that she's very supportive of him.
Young has seen and appreciated all the efforts of Miller throughout the years. This is why he asked her hand in marriage back in 2023. Moreover, their love also gave way for the birth of the couple's first child in 2022. These two have been very in love with one another and have never faltered to support each other.
When asked about his new wife, all the Hawks star could do was gush about her: "She will ask me little details here and there about what I like, but I'm kind of letting her do her thing. I'm already a slow jams guy. We always listen to slow jams together."
These two will surely have a long and happy marriage with the way they treat each other.
