The turn of the 2020s has been rough for Pam Bryant. She lost her son, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, to an unfortunate helicopter crash in early 2020. Grief would strike her and the family again four years later when Joe Bryant also died. This resilient woman had underwent a lot in the past half decade but it looks like she still has a lot of life to give. Where is she now and what has she been up to?
Pam officially became part of the Bryant family when she got married to Joe at just 21 years old. He was off to get drafted by the Golden State Warriors while she did her best in making a proper home for the family. The world of basketball was not new to her too. Her brother was Chubby Cox. He was a former player of both the Chicago Bulls and Washington Bullets.
Pam and Joe's love grew over time. This gave way for the birth of their three kids. Kobe Bryant was one of the children that they raised but their relationship went sour over the years. It all started when the couple tried to auction off some of the Lakers legend's items from the days when he was just starting out. This was swiftly caught by Kobe's lawyers and they forced everyone involved to return the sold items.
There is not much known about Pam since the death of both Joe and Kobe. However, Lakers fans can take solace in the fact that the parents reconciled with their son in 2016. They still enjoyed a few years together before the world-shattering news about the Lakers legend's death was announced.
