Helping a kid grow up is already a tough job, it gets even harder when they have ambitious dreams of making it to the NFL. Jaxson Dart always envisioned himself as a starting quarterback in the Super Bowl back when he was a kid. Many parents would laugh at this type of determination but the Ole Miss quarterback's parents were different. They helped him become who he is to this day. Let's get to meet them.
Jaxson Dart was welcomed into the world by Kara and Brandon Dart on the 13th of May in 2003. In total, they already had five kids - two were daughters and three were boys. This meant that the young star naturally gravitated to his father for advice when it comes to his playing career. He often came to the right place because Brandon used to be a safety for Utah back in college. So, he understood how quarterbacks should play in order for defenses to have a hard time.
While the Ole Miss star bonded with his dad over football, his mom was a nurturing and calming presence. She would often be the light of the household while his Brandon was the disciplinarian. Despite the stark contrast of their primary roles, Jaxson still has a very strong bond with both of his parents.
Whenever he needed to decide on his college offers and weighing options to join Ole Miss after USC's coaching revamp, both of his parents offered their sage wisdom to him. The result of this trust? Well, it looks like he will be poised to become a first or second round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. All it took were loving parents and following their advice for his dreams to be realized.
