His parents were doing everything in their power in order to get him to play college football. There were a lot of efforts and sacrifices made prior to him impressing Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin. Drew Allar was born on the 8th of March in 2004. His parents are Kevin and Dawn Allar. If his father's name rings a bell, you must be from Eastern Michigan. This is because the Penn State star's dad used to be a linebacker for the Eagles back in the early 1990s before becoming a manager in Cleveland. Kevin may have given up on his dreams of going to the NFL but these hopes are kept alive through his son.
Meanwhile, Dawn is community relations coordinator for one of their local schools. She takes time off from work whenever Drew needs help in academics and even in his pursuit of becoming a professional athlete. In fact, all of the training tapes in the rain that the Penn State star sent to coaches during COVID were recorded by his mother. This was such a great display of love from Dawn.
