Deciphering Dominance: Antonio Brown's Greatness in College

In 2024, many think that Antonio Brown is just a washed up wide receiver who doles out hot takes on ESPN. His legacy has become shrouded with a lot of controversy after retirement that many fail to recognize that he was a beast on the gridiron. There is no greater testament to this than his insanely dominant college football run with the Central Michigan Chippewas.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were not expecting much out of the 2010 NFL Draft. They knew that Ben Roethlisberger needed help with a new weapon which is why they selected a kid out of Central Michigan to become their next wide receiver. This person they drafted was not a slouch at all.
Antonio Brown played three years for the Chippewas and was a daunting presence against every defender in the MAC. Every year, Central Michigan would get to a bowl game because of their wide receiver. Despite having only spent three years in college, he has the MAC record for most receptions in the MAC by notching 102 of them back in 2007.
There is nothing quite as dominant as Brown back in college. He continued this greatness with the Steelers and even teamed up with Tom Brady when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl in 2021. For now, it seems like football has taken quite the backseat in his life because aging caught up. Regardless, he had an insane college football career that no one could take away from him.
