Family is a big reason as to why Quinn Ewers ended up with Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns. He was initially committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes but the yearning to be close to his family prompted him to transfer schools. There is just something about his parents that help him perform way above expectations. This article will aim to have a deep dive into their relationship with one of the top system quarterbacks in all of college football.
Quinn Ewers was born to Kristen and Curtis Ewers. He was born on the the 15th of March in 2003. Since then, he started showing potential of becoming a great player on the field. As a result, his parents gave him all the tools necessary and they even bonded over their shared love for the sport.
Curtis, the Longhorns signal-caller's father, was his first coach. Despite being a founder of UM Resources, he made sure that there was time for him and son to bond on the gridiron. Due to this, Quinn has very vivid memories of playing football with his dad which makes the competitive nature of it more enjoyable.
His mother, Kristen, also made every game a little bit special. She started a tradition of dyeing the young quarterback's hair with a frosted blond color. This was because their was a long-standing practice of his team of having this before their season started. Moreover, she also did not fail to consistently attend her son's big games despite having a busy schedule as an elementary school teacher.
Both of the Texas football star's parents know how important this pursuit is to their son. So, they always give him a lot of affirmations such that he keeps going. Overall, he has not failed them both as a player and a son. Hopefully, this loving relationship inspires him to pop out in the College Football Playoff alongside Coach Steve Sarkisian.
