New York Giants fans can be a handful bunch a lot of the times. Daniel Jones may not have even been with the team for half a decade but he has a received a lot of uncalled statements throughout the years. He has shown a lot of emotional resilience despite all these terrible things going through his head. A lot of that can be attributed to how his parents, Steve and Becca Jones, raised him.
One might think that both Steve and Becca Jones were very athletic people in their primes. After all, their children all ended up playing high-level organized sports. However, that was not at all the case. The two were more into academics. She is currently working as a tutor in a high school while his job is not disclosed the public.
There is one thing that is largely known about Steve Jones. It is that he claimed that the Giants quarterback would have been better off playing basketball rather than football. After all, Daniel was already in Duke and he could have very well just walked on the team with Coach Mike Krzyzewski still there. Despite this, the signal-caller proved his father wrong and ended up being one of the best to have ever thrown the ball for the Blue Devis.
Jones' parents are seldom seen watching Giants games. This is largely because they have to balance their work alongside supporting their other three kids in the sports that they pursued. Regardless, it is very obvious that they are supportive of their son. Whether or not the Giants stick with him as their starting quarterback, they will just be there to cheer and console him.
