Finding the love of one's life during a historic NFL career can be quite the tall task. Balancing one's personal life alongside being great on the field and shielding oneself from vitriol is definitely not what most professional athletes are built for. An example of this is Terry Bradshaw. One of the greatest quarterbacks that the world has ever seen had a long journey before eventually tying the knot with his partner. What happened between the two and who is Tammy Bradshaw.
Terry Bradshaw had previous marriages that did not quite work out despite the fact that he had children in them. The same can be said for Tammy before they met. Both of them had a great understanding of what works for themselves as individuals in a relationship which is why their marriage took a very long time. In fact, they had to date for over 13 years before deciding to get married.
This insane length of being a couple that was not officially married crafted really good foundations for their relationship. A large chunk of it was just getting over their previous marriages, healing together, and still keeping in touch with their kids. Now, the two have gone on to do wonderful things together. These include competing in Family Feud and having their own reality television series in 'The Bradshaw Bunch.'
Tammy and Terry Bradshaw may not have kids together but they treat the one's they had from previous relationships as family. This strong bond has led them to renew their vows in 2021 and their love for each other has only grown since then. They plan to stay together because she says that the love of her life came late: "Years ago I put on paper a list of the things I wanted in a man. #1 was someone that made me laugh! Well as of today we have been laughing together as husband and wife for 7 great years!! Here's to 30 more years with the love of my life."
There is clearly no deadline for when love arrives in the lives of people. A big testament to this has to be the NFL legend and his wife. They have overcame huge problems and even had to beat cancer at one point. Now, all they can think about is their luck for finding each other in this lifetime.
