Who's the worst NFL quarterback core ever?

Front offices usually spend the most money on their quarterback room. They usually make up the most of the squad's payrolls but this is largely more of a gamble than anything. Many teams in the league have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to their signal-callers. However, there is a three-headed unit that stood out more over the others. Who are they and what happened to the Cleveland Browns after fielding them?
The turn of the century meant that the Browns were also kicking into high gear after quite some years of losing. This front office was determined to get back up into contention as soon as possible. So, they branded this team as 'The New Browns'. Little would they know that a lot of analysts and fans would put their quarterback room as the worst in NFL history.
Doug Pederson, Spergon Wynn, and Tim Couch were the core of the 2000s Browns. They often switched rotational spots and starting jobs a lot because the team just could not find their footing. It would prove to be a terrible decision to have these run the offense. They ended up dead last in the league when it came to their 152.8 passing yards per game. Moreover, this trio had 18 interceptions which was double the amount of touchdowns that they doled throughout a 16-game campaign.
Obviously, this Browns unit did not make the playoffs. They were lucky to have won three games but that was the most positive thing that anyone could say about them. Dave Dameshek alongside many NFL analysts and fans know that these three were just not in the proper system to thrive.
