The Denver Broncos are back in the NFL Playoffs after about a decade-long drought. A lot of the praise has to go to Coach Sean Payton. There have been a lot of adversty that they had to go through just like the exit of Russell Wilson and all the other roster moves that happened before their triumphs. Look, Coach Sean Payton knows exactly how to turn a team around in a short span of time if given the keys to the organization. His storied coaching career started off in 1996 when the Philadelphia Eagles gave him a shot to be their quarterbacks coach. From then on, he had a stint with the New York Giants. His contributions with the franchise as their offensive coordinator got them a Super Bowl berth.
Coach Payton then got a big break and landed a head coaching position with the New Orleans Saints. He helped Drew Brees become a Super Bowl champion and lasted with the organization up to the 2021 season. Parting ways with the franchise was hard for Coach Payton but new opportunities came his way when the Broncos reached out in 2023. Up to now, his mission of turning teams around has remained constant.
In nearly three decades of coaching, the Broncos head honcho notched a net worth of about $35 million. Annually, he is earning about $18 million with the squad which means that the figures could double throughout the rest of his career.
