Brock Purdy is now the new face of the San Francisco 49ers. After becoming Mr. Irrelevant to leading Coach Kyle Shanahan's squad to the Super Bowl, he is largely considered a great signal-caller by the faithful. However, he did have a predecessor that was also beloved in Jimmy Garoppolo. It also showed in the paychecks that was given to him.
Jimmy Garoppolo may now be with the Los Angeles Rams and even had a stint with the Las Vegas Raiders but he will always have a spot in the hearts of the faithful. This elite quarterback helped the 49ers when they first challenged the Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs. Despite falling short, he rose into stardom and maintained an elite level of production before getting dealt away from The Bay.
His time with the 49ers got him a lot of deals from brands. This was largely because of two factors: his insane performances on the field and his good looks which could definitely make a heart melt. Bose, Luxury Collection, Levi's, and Men's Warehouse have all signed him to endorsement deals. These, along with the $4.5 million annually that he makes from his NFL contracts, give him quite a hefty bank account.
If one were to compute the former 49ers star and Rams quarterback's net worth, it amounts to an estimated $55 million. Hopefully, he experiences a career resurgence under Coach Sean McVay such that his net worth would also increase over time. For now, he just needs to be a consistent backup to Matthew Stafford.
