Are the Chiefs Winning because of bad referees?

Andy Reid is set on forming a dynasty with Patrick Mahomes in the middle. The Kansas City Chiefs have stomped nearly every opponent they faced in the 2024 season but this did not come without controversy. Many fans across the NFL think that this squad has been heavily favored when it comes to flags and whistles. Are the referees actually bailing them out?
A lot of NFL watchers were baffled by how the Chiefs have only lost one game so far in the season. It reached an insane boiling point when the Patrick Mahomes-led squad escaped the Los Angeles Chargers in the game which decided the AFC West. People are now calling this moment the 'Doink for the Division' because of how badly the referees have apparently handled the officiating.
Even media members thought that this was an unfair game ruled towards the favor of the Chiefs: "Somehow, some way, the referees missed one of the most blatant holding calls of the year on Chargers' edge rusher Tuli Tuipulotu. With a correct call, the Chiefs would have been backed up to second and 18 from their own 46."
As of the moment, there are still plenty of games left before the Chiefs get their three-peat. So, proper execution from other squads late in the season up to the playoffs could determine whether or not this narrative sticks. Furthermore, if the Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes-led squad does win, there is barely anything that will tarnish their legacy as a dynasty in NFL history.
