No longer patient: Cowboys set to trade up for Shedeur Sanders?

Impatience has been the only that's constant among the Dallas Cowboys fan base. They have been claiming that it'll be their year for the past years since Dak Prescott fully developed. Along with those years of hope came moments of heartbreak after their quarterback either gets injured or fails to deliver. Some think that it would be time for a change in the signal-caller position - a person who overflows with youth could be their guy. Who could that be?
Well, Shedeur Sanders is the top quarterback in this class. The Colorado football star is projected to not go lower than the top three picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. So, it is clear that Mike McCarthy and Jerry Jones would need to pull some strings if they want something to happen. The good news for the highly-valued franchise is that there is no definite top pick among the prime selections. Sanders could still go down to the third pick and they could make a trade then.
The Cowboys have always operated on the idea of trying to keep their players satisfied. CeeDee Lamb is a top priority when it comes to that because the elite wide receiver is generating huge numbers but not getting wins. Sanders could very well be the solution to this problem of satisfaction. They already have an injured quarterback in Prescott, the last thing that the Cowboys need is a high-profile weapon to leave because of their inability to win.
Assets and players are available at the disposal of the Cowboys at this very moment. The quantity of those picks and players would now depend on who expresses significant interest in drafting Sanders. The Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Giants all gave a shot of shattering the Cowboys fans' hopes in the coming months. Hopefully, Jerry Jones and the rest of the front office string a big move together soon.
