Will the Falcons trade Kirk Cousins before 2024 ends?

The Atlanta Falcons are surely underperforming given the expectations that were put on them. They may still be tied for the first seed in the NFC South with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but many thought they would be running away with the division by this time already. Will there be a franchise-altering move that sends Kirk Cousins away in exchange for some more sustainable and long-term assets?
Well, it looks like that would be the case entering this last quarter of the NFL season. The Falcons have fallen consecutively to the Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, and New Orleans Saints. In two of those matchups, the Kirk Cousins-led squad lost by less than four points which means that the signal-caller still has some value in him.
Apparently, front offices and insiders alike think that a move could be brewing some time before 2024 ends.
“The next six games could determine a lot about Cousins’ future. He had shown the ability to get hot, throwing for at least three touchdowns in three of his first nine games with the Falcons before the recent two-game slide. I expect Atlanta to have a defined plan for Cousins that maximizes the passing game coming off the bye. But to your point, the results have been pretty good but not optimal. Cousins would have a trade market, but I can’t think of a natural fit right now. The Raiders and Giants are in desperate need of a quarterback upgrade, but Cousins would prefer a contender, and neither team qualifies," Jeremy Fowler said.
If the Falcons do decide to go with Michael Penix Jr. for their future, where will Kirk Cousins be headed to?
