They said "I do" on August 1, 2020, at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana, as an ode to the love and work they share. On May 4, the pair had their first child, Mackenzie Lynn McAfee. It was a hard road to parenthood for the couple, who were candid about their struggle with infertility and the emotional strain that came from in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
