Nothing gets fans more excited than looking forward to seeing new players join their NFL teams. There is not an event that embodies this more than the draft. Many players are set to make their dreams come true when their name gets called in Lambeau Field. But, which names are going to be called first because of the talent they showcased in college? Let's find out!
1. Cam Ward
There is no shortage of talent at the signal-caller spot in the 2025 NFL Draft class. This means that the Miami Hurricanes product will be bound to change a franchise, one way or another. Ward is the consensus top pick. If media outlets and analysts are right, he could very well end up with the Tennessee Titans come the start of the season.
2. Shedeur Sanders
This quarterback was the definitive secondary star in the Colorado football squad. More than all the fame that he acquired due to Deion Sanders and Travis Hunter, Shedeur made a name for himself from Jackson State to the Buffaloes. His fairly steady hand under center has outlets predicting that he could end up with the New York Giants with their third overall pick.
3. Jalen Milroe
Not a single quarterback in the NFL Draft has gotten to experience more postseason action than Jalen Milroe. He had to thrive under the pressure of being a quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Not to mention, his talents in both rushing and passing have been sharpened. This is why a lot of analysts predict that he could be the third quarterback taken off the board. If ever the move happens, he will end up with the New Orleans Saints who hold the 31st overall pick or even compete to land with the Giants.
