A lot of football players have developed a nice analytical acumen over their years on the field. However, not a lot are able to articulate and describe what happens on the gridiron in a very entertaining way. Brandon Marshall was one of those people who made the successful shift in careers after they decided to hang up the cleats. How much is he worth today?
Brandon Marshall was already elite coming out of college. He was the MVP of the Hawaii Bowl with Central Flordia which led him to getting drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2006. There was a lot of success early in his NFL career. To put that into perspective, from 2008 to 2013, he nearly made every Pro Bowl except for one. This was also in spite of the fact that he moved teams constantly. He had some time with the Broncos before moving on to the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and New York Jets.
This insane talent got him a lot more accolades too. He was able to notch 10,000 career receiving yards which not most receivers are able to do. Furthermore, Marshall even won the Pro Bowl Most Valuable Player award back in 2011. All of this add up to the fact that he was remarkable at escaping defensive menaces and is able to accurately call the game.
So, it came to no one's surprise that he became a successful television personality after retiring. Marshall appeared on First Things First on FS1 before eventually moving on to NFL on Showtime. All of this hard work mixed with wit on the field have gotten him a net worth of $18 million. Hopefully, he is able to have a long broadcasting career to make that number larger.
