Meet Tommy DevIto's Parents, Tom and Alexandra

Tommy DeVito prides himself on his heritage. The fact that it was the New York Giants that got him off free agency was a seamless fit. He was able to reach out to local Italian-American communities and little kids from that area got a football idol that they could look up to growing up. A lot of this love for his culture certainly stems from his parents. So, who are his parents and what have they been up to?
Tom and Alexandra DeVito welcomed little Tommy into the world in August of 1998. Ever since he got out of the womb, Tommy had already presented traits of being a great athlete. His father even said it best: “Tommy was born to do this. I’m not surprised, and I’m not trying to sound cocky, but Tommy’s been training for him since he was 5 years old. People think, ‘Oh, he’s undrafted,’ and they wonder why he’s here... He’s here because [Giants coach Brian] Daboll knows he’s got a diamond in the rough."
Tom pursued a career in plumbing and fixing heaters. This helped Tommy pay for his expenses in the realm of football. Meanwhile, Alexandra was busy trying to manage their home. In fact, she still makes the Giants quarterback's bed to this very day. Both of his parents clearly love him and have done everything from working tireless hours to helping him with his struggles in the NFL.
The Giants quarterback clearly comes from a very humble home and it was all because of his parents. They were able to uplift him to the point where he reached his dreams. Despite the many days of being tired, the fact that their son is now a star with the Giants might surely put a smile on their face.
