Upon signing with the Seahawks, Bruce was looking to earn a spot on an NFL roster that already had more than four wide receivers. However, the performance could have been more consistent due to tough competition. The scouts were confident in his speed and tackling but could not rely on him because of his past. Even though Bobby was invited to the NFL sophomore year camp, he could not manage to leave everything in the past.
