Joe Kleine's Basketball Career
Joseph William Kleine, born on January 4, 1962, is an American former professional basketball player who had a successful career spanning fifteen seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He played for various teams such as the Sacramento Kings, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, New Jersey Nets, Chicago Bulls, and Portland Trail Blazers.
Notably, he won an NBA championship as a member of the Chicago Bulls in 1998. Kleine also had a remarkable amateur career, winning a gold medal as a member of the United States men's basketball team at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Transition to Business and Coaching
Following his retirement from the NBA, Joe Kleine transitioned into the business world and coaching. He is now a restaurant proprietor, owning a number of successful Corky's Ribs & BBQ restaurants.
Kleine has ventured into coaching, serving as an assistant at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and as a volunteer coach at Catholic High School in Little Rock.
