There is not a single NFL weekend where a fan won't hear Stacey Dales' voice or see her pop up on screen. She is a renowned reported on the NFL Network and worked her way up to the position. However, Dales needed someone to boost her confidence in order to reach this point in her career. There was one person who supported her and it is none other than her mom.
Stacey Dales was born to Jim and Heather Dales. Both of her parents immediately saw her potential in sports. This is why they supported her when she started to have an interest in basketball. Their love and support for her never withered. This gave way to her having more motivation as she made her way up to the WNBA.
She finished school at Oklahoma before getting picked up in the big leagues. Her homes in the WNBA were the Washington Mystics and Chicago Sky. However, a career in basketball doesn't usually last forever. After she hung up her basketball shoes in 2007, Heather inspired her to still find a career in sports. This is when she starter her broadcast journey.
Now, Stacey Dales works for the NFL Network and gives timely updates about player injuries or big shakeups in the league. If not for her parents' support, especially from Heather, fans may have known a very different version of her.
