College is always the place where most football stars meet the person who they want to spend their lives with. This was the case for Mike Evans. The young wide receiver just wanted to make a name for himself at Texas A&M but little did he know that Ashli Dotson would come into his life. How did the two cross paths and what are they doing with their lives now as he continues to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
Mike Evans and Ashli Dotson met at College Station thanks to their roommates. They immediately clicked and started developing feelings for one another. Whenever the Aggies had a game, she would always be there and support the elite wide receiver. Eventually, they decided to take the next step and continuously fall in love with each other even when he was starting off in the NFL.
When Evans had a more stable financial situation and was emotionally ready, he asked her to be his bride. She said yes and they got married in 2016. It was very fitting that they also got wed in The Corinthian because Texas apparently housed their love for one another. Now, they have three kids which she takes good care of in Florida. However, she still returns to Texas because of her career.
Dotson runs the Mike Evans Foundation while also having her own lifestyle blog. She keeps busy a lot of the time because Evans has to go and train with the Buccaneers. These days, she has been nothing short of an amazing wife who constantly supports his husband's endeavors. Often these types of relationships that start in college crash and burn but the Buccaneers legend along with his wife look like they're going to be an outstanding exception.
