Athleticism falls from the family tree. A lot of great players in today's age have been raised by insanely talented individuals who once dominated their sport in the past. Livvy Dunne is one of them. The Team USA star and LSU gymnastics belle is great when it comes to most apparatuses. A lot of it may be because of his father's genetics and training.
David Dunne is the Team USA and LSU gymnast's father. He played college football at Rutgers. So, it comes to no one's surprise that he welcomed a daughter who was also athletic. He also met her mother, Katherine, back during his playing days with the Scarlet Knights. She was also a gymnast who ended up just pursuing a career in business and education.
Katherine and David got married in the year 2000. The two have since had two children and invested all of their free time in raising them right. Livvy Dunne is their second daughter who was born on the first of October in 2002. They have been very involved in the career of their child. In fact, David has been taking care of all the legalities that come the Team USA star's way. This is largely because he is a corporate lawyer who has a good grasp of contracts and deals that come from big brands.
He even went out to reveal how much tedious work goes into overlooking every opportunity that comes her way such that she is always in a good light: “A lot of entities are reaching out to us. I'm looking over contracts, doing what I need to do to get Olivia in position. It's been crazy. It's exciting times for the Dunne family right now. We're keeping all options open."
