Meet track and field star Gabby Thomas' parents

A common theme in most stars that compete in the Olympics and World Championships is that they come from very athletic families. Gabby Thomas is not exempted from this at all. The track and field star who won three gold medals in the Olympics has gotten a lot of support from both of her parents. So, who are they and what have they attained before welcoming the superstar into the world?
Gabby Thomas' mom loves sports but she is very rarely seen on the track or stadium. Jennifer Randall pursued a lot of degrees throughout her youth. She notched credentials from Emory University and Duke University. After giving birth to the track and field star along with her eventual divorce, she got posts to be a professor at the University of Michigan and University of Massachusetts.
Desmond Thomas, on the other hand, was the more athletic parent of the two. He played football at Duke where he met Jennifer. His primary role on the team was to serve as their defensive back. There was not much that came out of his football career with the Blue Devils but he remained supportive of Gabby while she was growing up.
While Gabby Thomas' parents separated from one another when she was just four years old, the two have come together to support her endeavors on the track. Now, she is on pace to probably become the best female track athlete that the world has ever seen.
