Why did Simone Biles part ways with Cecile Landi?

Simone Biles was already a great athlete after the 2016 Rio Olympics. However, her rocket to stardom started during the year 2017 when she debuted new moves and insanely hard maneuvers on the apparatuses. A lot of it was due to how Laurent and Cecile Landi trained her such that she would quite literally defy the laws of physics while competing. Unfortunately, the married couple's relationship with the greatest gymnast of all time had to end.
Laurent and Cecile Landi had to let go of coaching Simone Biles after the Paris Olympics. A lot of fans were thinking that this was such a cryptic move by the decorated gymnast. Some have thought that she would be retiring which would render the coaches as useless in her career already while others simply think better opportunities came.
As of the moment, the latter has looked more realistic. Cecile Landi just notched a head coaching job at the Georgia Bulldogs' gymnastics program. She would be working with Ryan Roberts which would be a terrific venture for her career. After all, Landi has already done what she could to make Biles the greatest athlete to have ever played around on the apparatuses.
Despite the new endeavor in her life, Landi still had a bittersweet farewell to her company and Biles: "Thank you to the entire WCC family for your endless support and love I’ve felt these past 7 years. Thank you to all of my athletes and their families for your trust and commitment to our program! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for y’all. Forever WCC PROUD."
