Many professional athletes belittle the business of running. They often think that sprinting any distance in any amount of time is a very easy endeavor to pursue. This ticks off a lot of Olympians and World Champions because the hard work that they put in sometimes gets disregarded due to these statements. Chad Johnson and Fred Kerley are a very recent example of this.
Chad Johnson has a very big social media presence. He often reacts to a lot of things using his X account and a video of Rai Benjamin alongside Fred Kerley just so happened to pass by his feed. He reposted this with the caption, "Quarter horse." While many think that this was the two exchanging props to one another, it was all apparently founded in sarcasm.
Ochocinco then followed it up with an eye-raising, "So, you're saying he can beat me in the 400m? Rai, you, any of y'all." Very hilariously, Kerley did not want to engage on a serious level. He replied with, "That's the McDonald's talking in you. Sit down." A lot of people found it insanely hilarious that the Team USA track star responded this way to one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history.
Now, there is obviously not going to be a showdown between these two men on the track. Kerley has a lot of preparations to do for his on-track pursuits. Meanwhile, Ochocinco is clearly too old for any type of physical challenge. There may not be beef between them but their heated interaction quickly turned very funny.
