Shedeur Sanders Draft Status and Where?
Shedeur Sanders Draft Status and Where?

Sheduer Sanders has had a great season in college football despite having a questionable offensive line in his first season at Colorado and analysts saying he could not do what he did at the FCS level at the FBS level. He is arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the 2025 Draft Class, but where could the Buffs quarterback go, and in what round?
Current Round and Projection:
There are lots of draft analysts out there to tell the truth; however, we are going to base our guesses strictly on current situations and ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr., Who said this about Sanders in a recent interview: "Shedeur Sanders has had to survive," Kiper said. "I don't know any other quarterback that could, and still be out there... to keep getting back up and competing. I'm ready to put Shedeur at QB1; I am, just because of that reason." Sanders is by far the most accurate passer in the draft and is not afraid to take hits in the pocket. Get him a solid offensive line, and he guaranteed a minimum of 3,000 passing yards. Kiper projects Sanders to be a first-round pick and the first QB off the board in April.
Possible Landing Spots:
Miami Dolphins:
Given Tua's injuries and even with him returning to football, Miami is a good projection with all the fun receivers in Tyreek, Waddle, and a soon-to-be-healthy OBJ. Sanders would fit in perfectly with all the receivers.
New York Giants:
Daniel Jones has not worked out in the Big Apple, and giving Sanders a receiver like Malik Nabers is a dangerous combo. The Giants also have Darius Slayton and Allen Robinson II, and they have a boatload of draft picks that they could draft for Sanders.
New Orleans Saints:
Yes, they have Derek Carr and drafted Spencer Rattler, but Sander would fit in perfectly. With a back like Kamara and receivers like Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson, and Rashid Shaheed, who will be back from injury, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Sanders would have all the receivers he needs.
Las Vegas Raiders: Lots of predictions have Sanders ending up in Vegas with the connection they have had to the Raiders, such as a reported meeting between the Sanders family and the Raiders organization and the non-current solid quarterback situation in Vegas. The other factor that toys into this is the fact that the Raiders are now owned by Tom Brady, who has been a mentor to Sheduer since he was a kid.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns have Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston. Watson seems to keep getting injured or in other situations, and Winston is just not a franchise quarterback. If you let Sanders go in and compete for the job in Clevland, he would have a high chance of taking it. This is an unlikely scenario, given that Watson is out with an Achilles injury and would be good to return by the start of the season.
Los Angeles Rams: This is also one of those possibilities, but it is not likely. Matthew Stafford is nearing the end of his career. Who knows how much longer the former number-one pick has left in the tank? If the Rams were to take Sanders, we would see what Sanders is capable of with the receivers in Boulder. Imagine him with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. The Rams would be a significant problem in the NFC, and if Sanders were to learn for a year under Stafford, we have seen how that works. I mean, look at Partick Mahomes.
