He may be out of a job at the moment but the amount of savings in his bank might be good enough until another squad tries to court him for a coaching position. However, it was not always this way for the former Aggies and Seminoles coach. He struggled financially after his divorce with Candi.
They had a fairly long 22-year marriage before deciding it was time to break things off. This meant that Coach Fisher had to give up nearly $3.4 million of his cash and assets just so everything could be finalized. Furthermore, he also needed to pay roughly $4,500 of child support every month because they had two kids.
Despite all of this, Coach Fisher has managed to do excel in the world of college football. Hopefully, it will take no time until someone from a prestigious school or even an NFL front office calls him up for another coaching post. After all, he still has the acumen to lead players into greatness just like he did a decade ago.
