Marquee programs in college football more than deserve to be seen in person. This is why a lot of schools have gone on the process of renovations throughout the past decades in order to host more fans. One particular program that most SEC spectators and college football fans are always in the look out for is the Alabama Crimson Tide. Despite the transition from Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer, a lot of people are still flocking Bryant-Deny Stadium. So, how many people can fit into this historic place in football history?
Bryant-Denny Stadium is situated in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It attracts a lot of fans every year and is often sold out for marquee matchups in the SEC or for bowl games too. It's seating capacity is about 101,821. Despite it being able to hold a lot people, it is not the biggest among all college football programs and even in their conference. In fact, the Alabama Crimson Tide's home field just ranks seventh in all of the nation when it comes to capacity.
Who holds the records for biggest seating capacity in the nation? When it comes to just the SEC, Kyle Field is the king of all stadiums. The Texas A&M Aggies' field at College Station can host about 102,733 people. But, that number is also not enough to be considered in the top three of this list in all of the land.
The names above Texas A&M and Alabama are Big Ten Conference powerhouses. The biggest one of all? Well, that title has to go to the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan Stadium at Ann Arbor can shift any game's atmosphere and have opponents trembling in fear when songs like Mr. Brightside start playing. After all, who would not be scared of about 107,601 people in blue and yellow shouting in support of one team.
