Bo Nix flashed as an exciting dual-threat quarterback in college football. He began 2019 at Auburn University College and then transferred to the University of Oregon as a receiver. His journey eventually led to being selected as the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, selected by the Denver Broncos, as a validation of all his hard work and talent.

Bo's family has been a sacred life support system to him. His father, Patrick Nix, was Auburn's quarterback and passed on a football gene or two down the line. But Bo's success is not just his own; that glory belongs to all of his brothers, with Caleb and Tez also making their way through the sport.

Younger Brother: Caleb Nix

Background and Early Life

Bo's younger brother, Caleb Nix, is also a football junkie. He beat out seniors in high school football and was a starting quarterback for years, showing the same leadership and ability as his older brother.

Football's long Career and accomplishments

Caleb is currently a safety guard for the Clemson Tigers football team. His flexibility and ability to change positions showed up on the recruiting trail, thriving in virtually every position he was asked to play in.

Relationship with Bo Nix

Caleb has always looked up to Bo and his work ethic. Their relationship is marked by respect and support, with Caleb even being spotted celebrating Bo's triumphs, such as during the NFL Draft.

The Adopted Brother, Tez Johnson

Early Life and Adoption

Tez, born in Pinson, Alabama, experienced a lot of adversity from an early age as he grew up around violence and instability. He managed to make it through these trials and eventually found a new life with the Nix family, who took him in informally without any adoption papers signed.

Footballing Journey & Achievements

Tez played high school football at Pinson Valley High. Bo may have had him beat in size, but Tez stood tall on the field in his own right with skill and heart. He then transferred to the University of Oregon and played wide receiver.

Tez has earned the moniker "The Weapon" at Oregon for his speed and elusiveness. The journey from a rough childhood to college success is a tribute to his determination and the Nix family. For Tez, playing next to Bo at Oregon was like a match made in heaven, and it showed during games.

Relationship with Bo

They are more than just teammates. Bo has been a mentor and role model for Tez, urging him to be the best he can be on and off the field.

The siblings have both contributed to their family's footballing legacy through different paths. Their bond with Bo extends beyond the gridiron, built on elements like faith and mutual respect. Caleb and Tez stay true to their relationship-building family values as they navigate the complexities of pursuing dreams inspired by Bo's achievements on the football field. Together, their journey proves the strength of family and hard work to reach excellence amid adversity.
