Dwight Howard has always been in public view, thanks to multiple feats under his belt. He started his career as the first player in NBA history to start all his games during his rookie season straight out of high school.
In recent news, Dwight showed off his dancing skills, which made fans curious about how he was doing and what his life looked like.

Howard came from a family of athletes, in fact, Mama Howard herself was also a former women’s basketball player.
Speaking of basketball, it seems as if Dwight is making a team himself. The 38-year old currently has five children from five of his past relationships. Steel Man often shares his love and support for his kids. Howard seems to be enjoying his fatherhood journey.
Who Are Dwight’s Kids?
The NBA legend currently has five kids: three boys and two girls.
His eldest is Braylon Howard, whom he shared with former Orlando Magic cheerleader Royce Reed. The two were said to have an on-and-off relationship before Braylon was born. Some controversies also arose years ago when his eldest called him out on being an absent father, which caused quite a stir. Dwight stated in an interview that he was hurt by the accusations.
The second born is Layla Howard. Layla is Dwight’s eldest daughter with Tiffany Render. Howard initially had secondary custody of his daughter, but he filed a petition to claim primary custody of her in 2023. The decision favored Howard.
Third eldest is Jayde Howard, born in December 2010. Jayde’s mom is Hope Alexa, a fitness model from Vancouver, Canada. Not much is known about her aside from being born in the same year as Layla.
His fourth child took his name, Dwight III, also known as Trey Howard. Trey was born to Christine Vest in 2013. The mother and son stayed away from the public, and there wasn’t much information about Dwight’s second son.
The youngest is David Howard, born to the late Melissa Rios. Rios passed away due to an epileptic seizure, and her death was quite hard on Dwight.
