There are people who love basketball but there are just some who are so obssesed with it that they'll put it above everything else. Kevin Durant seems to act that way. From his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Seattle Supersonics, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Phoenix Suns, it does not look like he's invested in getting into a relationship. Have things changed over the years and has he finally found the person he'd want to spend his life with?
Well, the short answer is no. Kevin Durant is very single and is primarily focused on nothing but basketball. This has not stopped him from playing around and taking his shots though. In a very famous tweet, the Suns star declared that he would drink Scarlett Johnanson's bath water without any hesitation. Despite these efforts, it does not look like the renowned Hollywood celebrity gave him a shot.
There were other names linked to Durant like Monica Wright. The most recent one was Angel Reese. However, both of them were just merely seen sitting next to each other in the Olympics. They vehemently denied the fact of dating one another. In fact, Durant even went out to explain why he's choosing to be single: “I don’t want a girlfriend. I wouldn't say I had my heart broken. I've started to understand women a little bit more. Early on, I realized that she’s not mine. Even if she may be my girlfriend, she might be influenced by other people.”
There may be a lot of raised eyebrows because of Durant's position when it comes to dating. However, the Suns' veteran star remains firm on his stance. It is never too late for him to find the love of his life. But, he does have a ticking clock for his basketball career which could be why he's choosing the latter.
