Being a cricual member of a prestigious school or NFL franchise's coaching staff often gets someone under the hot seat a lot of times. Coach Brandon Staley was not safe from any of these harsh comments and tough criticisms. Despite this, he still pushed through and got better over time. All of these would not have happened if not for his wife.
Yes, Coach Brandon Staley is happily married to Amy Ward. The two have been together since the football mastermind was still an assistant in Northern Illinois. This was way back in 2007 and they went on a couple of dates before finally deciding that they wanted to be with each other.
In fact, the renowned head honcho was even shy to talk to her at that time: “When I would see him in the Yordon Center, he would have his head down and go straight upstairs. He was clearly in his own world. I didn’t know it at the time, but he was coming back from radiation treatments, which he underwent Monday through Friday each morning in Chicago."
It did not take long until Coach Staley was called up to the NFL. He also took the opportunity to save up for his proposal. By 2011, the two had gotten married. Since then, both of them had only developed a deeper affection for one another. This led them to welcoming three kids into the world. When he's not busy coming up with new schemes and rotations, Coach Staley makes sure to spend a lot of time with his family.
