Ben Roethlisberger was often the reliable savior of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the clutch. He would lead them in dire situations and pull through such that they could notch the win big wins. On the other side, the quarterback's wife has been more focused in the business of saving lives alongside very skilled physicians. How did the two meet and what are they doing right now after the signal-caller retired?
To begin, Ben Roethlisberger met Ashley Harlan during a training camp in 2005. They started a romance that transcended things like sexual assault cases that were eventually dismissed. By the end of it, the Steelers quarterback had no eyes other than for her future wife. This is why they both decided to get married in 2011. Their love grew over time which helped them welcome three kids into the world.
While Ashley has been busy with supporting the Steelers and keeping their home stable, she also did not forget about her career. She became an assistant to physicians that conduct cardiac surgery. Clearly, her talents manifested in the field of medicine and healthcare which has been able to help save a lot of lives so far. As of the moment, she is still working at the UPMC Presbytarian Hospital.
The Steelers quarterback now often has to be the one who takes care of their home because Ashley has to go to work every now and then. This means that he gets to be more involved as his three kids grow.
