The world of martial arts is a hard realm to grasp for people who are on the outside looking in. Factors like motivation, constant weight maintenance, hormonal imbalances due to diets, and the raw training that fighters undergo are all super hard to understand. So, it is not uncommon for these people to start dating someone who work adjacent to their support. This is where a lot of the speculation about Francis Ngannou and Miesha Tate reside. Are the two actually dating or is it just one big rumor?
Francis Ngannou and Miesha Tate already knew each other before their paths crossed. He was a renowned boxer at the time already while she notched a UFC championship belt for herself. It was safe to say that their reputations preceded them to a great degree. Despite this, both of them showed a great display of humility when they first met each other.
They kept seeing each other at the UFC Performance Institute and in some events after that. This obviously led to some small talk and then evolved into casual conversations down the line. At one point, Tate even brought her kids to meet Ngannou and gushed about how great he was with them.
Now, all of these are just sparks of a deep friendship. Tate has been very much in love with Johnny Nunez. She is even seen supporting him during his ONE Championship fights. Ngannou, on the other hand, has remained very private about his dating life. As of the moment, it does not look like he is seeing anybody.
