Why Phoenix Sproles will leave a lasting impression in his final year for the Bison

Phoenix Sproles is ready for his revenge season. The injury bug has derailed his promising collegiate career. But after overcoming those setbacks, the Fan Arch athlete is eager to remind everyone that he is still one of the most electric wide receivers in the FCS.

Phoenix Sproles came out the gates hot in his first two seasons with North Dakota State University. The 6-foot, 190-lb. WR was phenomenal in his sophomore year and was the Bison’s second-leading receiver for the 2019 national championship run. He recorded 33 receptions for 541 yards and two touchdowns that year.

Following that impressive showing, bigger things were expected out of Phoenix Sproles. However, a devastating torn meniscus injury caused him to sit out the entire spring season.

He made it back the following year, but it was clear that the leg injury had some lingering effects. Phoenix Sproles didn’t play to his usual standards, finishing second in the team with 20 receptions, but scored just two touchdowns.

While Phoenix Sproles taught about going pro like his other contemporaries, the last two years left a bad taste in his mouth. He decided to return for an extra year of eligibility, delighting the NDSU football community.

Are you ready to see Phoenix Sproles silence his doubters? We all are. Show your support for the Bison's enigmatic WR by rocking his personalized merchandise exclusively available on Fan Arch! We got Phoenix Sproles’ logo and brand emblazoned on our high-quality hoodies, shirts, and other merchandise. Cop it while it’s hot!

We’ve already seen what Phoenix Sproles is capable of when he’s healthy. He’s also added new dimensions to his game during his time away on the sidelines. His greatest strengths include his ability to run with the ball and his blocking. Phoenix Sproles is also terrific on the catch, and we can’t wait to see him electrify the Bison’s offense once more.

There are also the intangibles, including his experience and leadership. Phoenix Sproles commands respect inside that locker room and is a coach’s extension on the gridiron.

This will be Phoenix Sproles’ final hurrah in college football, before chasing his dreams to turn pro. We can’t wait to see what Phoenix Sproles has in store for us.
