University of Alabama commit Bryce Young, North America's top college football recruit, signed a National Letter of Intent (NIL) on Wednesday. He signed the largest NIL deal in college football history and set a new bar for other top-end prospects.
OK, then, how rich is Young's NIL deal? Young's contract is sensitive to the exact numbers, but sources said he will be paid a base salary of around $3. That is vastly higher than a standard NIL deal, which generally runs about $1 million.
