Brock Lesnar is known to be a ruthless person whether it's on the octagon, ring, or gridiron. His beastly athleticism has now been passed down to his kids. Mya Lynn Lesnar, for instance, has been ravaging the world of college sports. She clearly has gotten some lessons from her dad. So, how did the legendary fighter teach her the path to becoming a successful athlete?
Mya Lynn Lesnar did not quite follow Brock Lesnar's footsteps when it comes to fighting. Instead, she found her passion in throwing the shot put. Colorado State currently treats her as their prized athlete due to the insane accolades that she has brought into the school. In fact, it was just in 2024 when she got crowned as the NCAA champion for indoor shot put.
Throwing for a bonkers 18.53 meters is not at all an easy feat. But, she managed to do it and score the crown for herself. A lot of it had to do with how she was raised by her dad. Brock Lesnar emphasized that they should be playing homeless in every competition. If you're intrigued by what this means, the renowned fighter explained the reasoning behind it.
“It’s funny how people that come from nothing end up with some success. That’s what I mean. That’s why I tell my kids all the time, ‘I want you to feel like you’re homeless. Fight like you’re homeless. Play hockey like you’re homeless.’ Because that’s the person you have to be to fight for things in your life. You have to just be a go-getter. Things aren’t just going to be given to you," he declared.
This mentality of always staying hungry has obviously stayed with Mya Lynn. This is why she was crowned the 2024 Mountain West Conference Indoor Athlete of the Year.
