The Rock has dismissed Dave Meltzer’s report that he will not be working WrestleMania41. Last week, Meltzer pointed out in his Newsletter that the Rock's schedule is too busy. This report made sense. Dwayne Johnson is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood. He has three upcoming releases Red One, Moana 2, and The Smashing Machine.
Even Triple H acknowledges that Dwayne Johnson’s schedule has him working only when he can.
"He kinda does what he wants to do when he wants to do it. That’s the cool thing about being the Final Boss I think. He’s The Rock, he can do what he wants to do" Triple H told reporters after Bad Blood.
Well, the good news for WWE fans is the Rock made it clear he wants to be a part of WrestleMania 41. When a fan commented on Dwayne Johnson’s Instagram asking about Meltzer’s report the rock had this to say. “Don’t believe any of that BS”
This is huge for WWE fans. The Rock’s Final Boss character has cemented himself as a crucial part of the storyline for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The report of the time threat is on the table. Roman Reigns vs Dwayne Johnson is on the table.
When The Rock returned at Bad Blood and stared down Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns it opened the door for several awesome storylines.
“I want to create the largest most monumental moments that sports and entertainment can hold. So if that involves him in the picture then yeah obviously.” Roman Reigns told Ariel Helwani in 2021 when asked about a future matchup with the Rock.
WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas Nevada. Can anything be a more monumental moment than a showdown between those two? Maybe adding Cody Rhodes and his WWE title to the mix.
The Rock has refuted claims regarding his absence from WrestleMania 41, expressing his desire to participate in the event despite his busy schedule. This development is significant for WWE fans, as it opens the possibility for compelling storylines involving The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. After 2024’s biggest and best WrestleMania ever in WrestleMania 40, we can see it topped in 2025 with The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes all confirmed to be in the picture.
