This mighty six-footer has proven that he could dominate as a floor general in the Big Ten Conference and even during March Madness. His role with the Boilermakers is also estimated to get larger due to the very sudden departure of Mason Gillis. But, this ride has been quite fun for the guard so far and it even netted him some solid NIL deals.
Braden Smith is the top-ranked Purdue basketball player in terms of NIL valuation. While seven big-name football players are racking in more deals than him, he is still earning a substantial amount while staying with the Boilermakers. In fact, he sits at 62nd among all college basketball players when it comes to his NIL contracts, per On 3 Sports. The fact that he has 32,000 followers across all social media platforms helps this quite a lot.
Overall, Smith has an NIL valuation that clocks in at around $830,000. More opportunities are likely going to present themselves in his future because he will get to shine more now that Edey won’t be taking up all of the spotlight.
