The world of boxing tends to be very stressful. Prior to actually getting wilingly beat up in front of millions of fans, they also have to endure the stress of hyping up the fights. This means talking smack to their opponents in the lead-up to the bouts and a cycle of unending criticism about how they box. Evander Holyfield is a name that most sports spectators know and, thankfully, he has Shevon Harris Holyfield by her side to keep him tethered.
Evander Holyfield has been married and divorced a couple of times throughout his boxing career. He notably had marriages Paulette Bowen, Janice Itson, and Candi Calvanna Smith. But, it would not be until the 2020s when he met the love of his life.
After Holyfield's divorce with Candi Calvanna Smith in 2012, Holyfield was not actively dating anybody until Shevon came back into his life. They kept their relationship private but their grand marriage in 2022 made headlines. In fact, the two met way before they got married too.
Despite being a very private person, Shevon is most known for her work in the field of law. Notably, she works to help children who are abused or left behind by their families in the court of law. Moreover, she also notched the title of Supreme Court Municipal Monitor in Missouri.
Shevon made a big name for herself in her own right. So, it might not be fair to just call her the wife of Evander Holyfield. Nonetheless, the two seem to have a stable marriage so far and look very happy with the state of their lives at the moment.
