Caitlin Clark may just have her whole life planned out. Her run in the WNBA may have just started with the Indiana Fever but she already has plans when it comes to retirement. Some might think that she would just retreat and have a private life or continue her basketball brilliance as a head coach. However, her answer to the queries about retirement might be a surprise to most people.
A lot of athletes tend to have secondary sports that they could fall back on. Caitlin Clark is no exception. While she might just end up as the greatest WNBA player to have ever existed, her love for golf is really huge too. In fact, she has signified her willingness to play professionally after calling it a career on the hardwood.
The Fever star has made it clear that this what she would be doing after their season ended early after a tough playoff exit: “I was focused on beating the Connecticut Sun, I hadn’t thought too far down the line. I don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow, I don’t know what I’m going to do the next day. Maybe play some golf. I think that’s what I’m gonna do until it becomes too cold in Indiana. I’ll become a professional golfer.”
For now, fans can relish in her greatness in the next decade or so. If all goes well, she might even be the greatest player of the WNBA and LPGA. With her insane dedication and training regimen, it comes to no one's surprise that Clark could very well be insanely talented on the golf course too.
