Joy Taylor is a well-known name in the world of sports media. She has been covering various leagues in the past years. So, it comes to no one's surprise that she got to find love in a former MLB player. He goes by the name of Richard Giannotti. Despite the two initially thinking that they would stay in each other's lives forever, fate had other plans for them. What happened between the two and what are they up to now?
Richard Giannotti was one of the top-end talents in 2004 MLB Draft after he balled out for the Miami Hurricanes. He then bounced around the league for a while before finding a home with the Anaheim Angels. Eventually, he met Joy Taylor in the middle of his career. The two had a slow burn romance because of their commitments on the field and on air. However, they eventually decided to tie the knot in 2016.
Taylor and Giannotti ended up having a son. Despite this and all the other efforts they put into being better people, their relationship crashed. This prompted their eventual divorce in 2017 which was almost just a year after their ceremony. It was a tough time for both of them but they got over the relationship in the long run.
Now, Taylor is with Fox Sports. She appears frequently as a host alongside Paul Pierce and Keyshawn Johnson. On the other hand, Giannotti pursued a career in finance after his nine-year MLB career as an outfielder. He is currently the President and Financial Advisor for Athlete Asset Management which helped increase his net worth to about $20 million.
