Catchers don't get as much love in the MLB over other positions. However, a person who has strived to make a name for himself despite not being a slugger or pitcher is JT Realmuto. This insanely talented base-stealer for the Philadelphia Phillies has clearly impacted how the position should be played. A big reason for this could be the fact that he has a woman cheering him on.
Look, the climb to the MLB is never easy. JT Realmuto, for example, had to go through a squad called the New Orleans Baby Cakes before he got his opportunity with the Phillies. All of these trials mixed with the tough nature of being a catcher definitely cause a lot of stressors. This is where Alexis Taylor comes in his life.
The two got married in 2017 and have since made a very beautiful family. Taylor used to be a model but it is not clear what she is pursuing after the marriage. Some have speculated that she became a full-time mom because she and Realmuto have five children. Yes, your eyes do not deceive you - the couple has welcomed a lot of kids in the span of their marriage already.
Taylor is often seen supporting the Phillies whenever she has time to spare. It is also usually when Realmuto pops off. These two are a clear testament of individuals loving and supporting each other for a really long time. Hopefully, their love only grows from here on out.
