Driving and Parking

Stadium Lots are the most convenient but also the priciest. The parking passes can be more than $50 for Gold lots. Tailgating in these lots is encouraged and recommended; however, they tend to fill up quickly.

Private Lots: Located near Rivers Casino, these lots normally run between $30 and $40 and are reasonably accessible.

Downtown Garages: Slightly less than the stadium lots, but you have to walk over the bridge from Heinz Field.

Public Transportation

The T/ Light Rail: The least expensive route. Park in the south hills at stations and catch the T to bring you outside PNC.

Buses: Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) provides regular gameday service to the North Shore throughout Allegheny County.

Alternative Options

Gateway Clipper Shuttle: Park at Station Square and take a riverboat ride to the stadium. This is expensive for bigger parties, but a fun option.

Rideshare: Expect higher pricing due to the surge, and with the road closures that will be in place during race weekend, they may even get dropped off short.

From the South Hills suburbs: 45-60 minutes (via T)
East End neighborhoods: 30-45 minutes

Tailgating

Tailgating is an essential part of the Steelers fan gameday experience. Here's what you need to know:

Gates open at 11:30 a.m. CTParking lots will reopen five hours before kickoff.
Gold lots nearest the stadium, combined with an early arrival, make solid options from which to begin tailgating.
If you can't find a group to join, head over to the Stage AE Tailgate Zone, where you can watch for free in an energetic setting with live music, drink/food specials, and TVs.
